An expectation that I forgot to put in the syllabus

An important thing to remember as the class begins:
You need to bring your book to class. We'll be examining lots and lots of arguments, and I'll be choosing examples from Hurley's exercises (mostly).

First reading/homework assignment.

(1) Read Hurley pg. 1-23.
(2) On pages 7-10, do exercises I.1, I.3, I.9, I.14, I.27
